The platform's operator, ABETRO (registration of ABETRO d.o.o. in Slovenia is in progress), is the controller of the data described in this policy. For privacy questions, write to privacy@abetro.com — we reply within 30 days.
Profile: your name, username and photo from Telegram (or email if you sign in by email or Google), city, language, chosen interests. Content: listings, posts, reviews, chat messages and photos, and deal details (amount, currency, status) that you enter yourself. Location: precise coordinates only if you enter a listing's address yourself or grant the browser location permission for the "Who's nearby" map (not stored, used only to centre the map). Verification: the document you upload to confirm your identity. Payments: your Telegram Stars purchase history (we never see your card details — Telegram handles those). Technical data: device and browser type, error reports (no personal data by default), and the IP address logged at the hosting infrastructure level.
To perform the user agreement: show your profile to others, deliver messages, tailor the feed to your interests and city, process Stars payments. Based on legitimate interest: protect the app from spam and fraud, find and fix bugs. Based on your consent: show your precise location on the map, send a feature announcement. Based on a legal obligation: keep records where accounting or tax law requires it.
We do not sell your data. Technical partners that process it only for their specific function: Supabase (database, file storage and sign-in), Vercel (app hosting), Telegram (sign-in, messages, Stars payments), DeepL and Anthropic (Claude) (text translation), MapTiler (the map), Pixabay (illustrations, not linked to your account), Sentry (error reports, personal data disabled by default), Travelpayouts (tracking clicks on affiliate links to credit bonuses).
Some partners may process data on servers outside the European Economic Area (for example, in the US). In such cases, we rely on the legal safeguards provided by GDPR, in particular Standard Contractual Clauses.
We do not track your location continuously. The browser asks for precise coordinates only when you open the "Who's nearby" map, and they are used only to centre the map — never stored on the server. Your city and any listing's address (housing, delivery) are entered by you.
We do not use advertising cookies and do not track you across other websites. The browser version of the app stores your sign-in session and a few settings (language, theme, message drafts) in your device's local storage — this is never sent to anyone but stays on your device.
Stored in a private location that is not publicly accessible. Only a moderator sees them while reviewing your application. You can ask us to delete them once the review is complete by writing to privacy@abetro.com.
Data is kept for as long as your account exists. After you delete your account, your profile, messages and photos are deleted within 30 days. Anonymised technical records (such as aggregated error statistics) may be kept longer where the law requires it.
Under GDPR and Ukraine's Law "On Personal Data Protection", you have the right to: get a copy of your data, correct inaccuracies, delete your account and data, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent at any time, and receive your data in a machine-readable format. Write to privacy@abetro.com — we reply within 30 days. If you believe your rights have been violated, you may contact a supervisory authority: in Ukraine, the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights; in Slovenia, the Information Commissioner (Informacijski pooblaščenec); in your own EU country, your local data protection authority.
ABETRO is not intended for people under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children; if we learn that an account belongs to a minor, we will delete it.
The connection to the app is encrypted (HTTPS). Database access is restricted by row-level rules (everyone sees only their own and public data), and verification documents are accessible only to moderators. That said, no service can guarantee absolute protection against every risk.
We may update this policy. We will notify you in the app in advance of material changes.
